Job description

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Fellow in Renal Transplantation and Renal Failure Surgery, based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Glasgow. The initial contract is for 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance. The role involves clinical work within the West of Scotland Renal Transplant Unit and one of Europe's busiest renal failure surgical services. Responsibilities include supporting the (currently 1 in 7, 24-hour partial shift) on-call rota, participating in elective surgery MDTs, clinics, and general surgical activities.

Applicants who have not completed a UK foundation programme within 3.5 years of the advertised start date will need to submit a Certificate of Readiness to Enter Specialty Training (CREST). This form must be completed by a consultant who has worked with the applicant for at least three months within the 3.5-year period prior to the start date.
