Reporting to the Manager, Professional Practice, this position will support the education and development of the Nurse Extern by providing mentorship, support, team integration, extern coordination, and overall program implementation and evaluation at the point of care. To accomplish this, the Clinical Extern Coordinator must take an active role by working closely with the externs to provide coaching, training, support, helping them define a strong career development plan, and serve as a role model for the extern. You demonstrate leadership, collaboration, change management, and problem solving skills. You have excellent organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize workload. You also have excellent communication skills and demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills. You have a good understanding of professional practice standards and CNO standards of practice and demonstrate a commitment to the organizational vision, mission, values and service excellence.

Hours: Currently days including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
