A healthcare provider in British Columbia is seeking a Clinical Educator Physiotherapist responsible for training staff and ensuring compliance with health standards. In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of the Regional Manager, Clinical Education or designate, the Clinical Educator Physiotherapist (PT) is responsible for identifying, planning, compiling, and delivering training sessions for staff to assist them in meeting their key competencies in compliance with scope. This includes compiling, implementing, and evaluating general and unit-specific orientation and education programs. The role also involves facilitating the development and ongoing maintenance of the department’s preceptorship/mentorship programs, and participating in the ongoing review and revision of patient care standards, policies, and procedures. Additionally, the Clinical Educator coordinates in-service programs aimed at meeting the continuing educational needs of staff.
Shift Rotation / Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:30 to 16:30.
