JOB SUMMARY: Sycamores provides a spectrum of equitable mental health services through various programs to multicultural populations of all acuities. The agency primarily focuses on providing care to low-income, high-needs, at-risk children, youth, families, and adults.

The Program Director for our Mobile Crisis Outreach Program is a management-level position responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the overall program, including human and financial resources. The program partners with Riverside and LA County to operate dispatch centers and the 988 mental health crisis hotline, providing timely crisis support, safety planning, assessments, and follow-up support. The Director will supervise the Mobile Crisis team, collaborate with external agencies, and ensure efficient operations.

This role involves recruiting, hiring, supervising staff, utilizing data for planning, and managing program finances. The Director will work with other managers, executive staff, and stakeholders, and may need to provide crisis support or field backup.

Starting Pay Range:
Clinical: $110,000 - $120,000/year (based on experience and education).
LPS & CADC: $95,000 - $110,000/year (based on experience and education).

Shift Schedule: Full-time overnight shift, hours approximately 10:30 pm to 8:30 am, with days varying based on workload.

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for external candidates.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in a related field, with 2+ years post-licensure experience, registered with CA BBS or CA Board of Psychology.
  • Or LPS licensed Psychiatric Technician with 5+ years crisis experience, LPS certified or eligible, and supervisory experience.
  • Or CADC III (Masters Level).
Additional Requirements:
  • Experience in Mobile Crisis Response preferred.
  • Supervisory/managerial experience, valid CA Driver License, and maintaining required licenses.
