The Opportunity
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Community Mental Health and Addictions, the Dietitian will be a key member of the interdisciplinary team, participating in assessments, providing dietetic services to patients and families, and consulting with other health professionals. The Dietitian must have specialized knowledge and experience working with youth presenting with eating disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings, able to assess and manage associated risks. An interest in helping youth through the stabilization phase and familiarity with treatment interventions like Emotion Focused Therapy, Family Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing are essential.
The Dietitian will also provide consultation and support to inpatient, day treatment, and CMHA services, and participate in mentoring clinical trainees.
Hours of Work
Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Evenings may be required.
