Job Description

Aramark is hiring a Permanent Part-Time Clinical Dietitian for an interim patient care facility in Ottawa. This position involves a 16-hour work week, preferably during weekday mornings. Onsite parking is provided at no cost.

As part of the food services team, the Clinical Dietitian provides person-centered nutrition care to residents, focusing on health, well-being, and quality of life.

The Clinical Dietitian works independently and collaborates with the care team to deliver quality healthcare and resident-centered services. They ensure all documentation regarding residents' nutritional status is complete and accurate.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assess and develop nutritional care plans for patients, emphasizing quality of life and nutrition.
2. Consult with physicians and interdisciplinary team members; communicate nutritional plans effectively.
3. Participate in patient case conferences, ID rounds, and serve as a resource for patients and families.
4. Collaborate with Food Services to meet departmental and nutritional standards.
5. Recommend programs or services to improve resident care or departmental operations.
6. Stay informed on trends in clinical dietetics through publications, research, and ongoing education.
7. Maintain contact with dietetic organizations related to your responsibilities.
8. Work within departmental budget constraints.
9. Interact with Food Services staff to achieve departmental objectives.

Qualifications
