Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a Dietitian to provide nutrition care to patients, families and communities within a collaborative, inter-professional team. The role supports nutrition services across health sectors and participates in internship programs.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Foods and Nutrition, current registration, and ideally inpatient nutrition experience. The position allows for a 60-hour biweekly schedule and includes a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Foods and Nutrition required and current registration with the Nova Scotia Regulator of Dietetics.
• Minimum one year of dietitian experience preferred; inpatient clinical nutrition experience is an asset.
• Proficiency with dysphagia management, enteral and parenteral nutrition; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Provide competent, safe, and ethical dietitian services to patients/clients, families and communities.
• Collaborate with the inter-professional team to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Support participation in the Integrated Dietetic Internship program and precept dietetic interns.
