Job description

Position Summary

We have a relief full-time Registered Dietitian opening in Kelowna, B.C. This position is expected to run until November 2026 or the return of the current incumbent. It works Monday to Friday from 08:00-16:00 and primarily supports the Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) program.

The Dietitian is part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing nutrition care and support to individuals, patients, residents, and groups. Responsibilities include:

  • Nutrition assessment, care planning, and documentation
  • Intervention, goal setting, and monitoring
  • Counseling and educational programs
  • Consulting and communicating with care teams
  • Serving as a resource to health professionals and communities
  • Contributing to nutrition practice guidelines, research, and quality improvement
  • Advising food service staff on care issues and menu development

Qualifications:
  • Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics
  • Successful completion of an accredited hospital-based dietetic internship or equivalent
  • Full registration as a Registered Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
  • One year of clinical nutrition experience preferred
  • Valid BC Driver’s License
