Join our multidisciplinary healthcare team as a Clinical Dietitian in the Diabetes Education Program, where you’ll have a key role in providing nutritional care and support to individuals living with diabetes.
Days of work are Tuesdays to Thursdays, and three Fridays per month and every fourth Monday. Please note that travel is a requirement for this position and transportation arrangements must meet the employer’s requirements. You are required to hold a valid driver’s license and may be required to drive a personal car on mileage and / or be assigned a fleet vehicle.

About the position :
Primarily based with the Integrated Primary Care Centre as Diabetes Educator in Kamloops at Thompson Park Mall Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Working at the Vascular Improvement Program at Royal Inland Hospital on Thursdays. Travelling Diabetes Educator to Clearwater and Barrier every four weeks on Monday and Tuesday.
You’ll apply advanced knowledge and clinical techniques, including Insulin Dose Adjustment (IDA) competency and / or Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) qualifications, to deliver expert nutrition services. As a Clinical Dietitian, your responsibilities will include conducting nutritional assessments, developing and documenting care plans, and providing personalized interventions. You’ll collaborate with healthcare providers to set client goals, monitor progress, and lead educational programs for patients. Additionally, you'll support and mentor peers, new staff, and students, sharing knowledge and demonstrating best practices. This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of regional, provincial, and local diabetes care guidelines, participate in research, and engage in continuous quality improvement efforts to enhance the program’s impact and effectiveness.
