Qualifications

  • 5 years of direct clinical supervision experience in social services working with children, youth, adults and families.
  • Registration and good standing with BC Association of Clinical Counselors required.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check required.

Position : Part Time Clinical Counsellor

Hours : 20 hours per week (potential for increased hours)

Summary :

Axis Family Resources Ltd. is hiring a compassionate and skilled Clinical Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children, youth, and their support networks to develop and implement service plans, provide direct clinical services, and support stabilization and transition planning. This role involves providing direct clinical services such as intake, assessment, treatment, crisis intervention, and therapy. Qualifications and Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Educational Counselling, Clinical Psychology or Child and Youth Care, or comparable graduate degree at the Master’s level, or equivalent.
  • 5 years of direct clinical supervision experience in social services working with children, youth, adults and families.
  • Registration and good standing with BC Association of Clinical Counselors
  • Clear Criminal Record Check (agency conducted, expenses covered)
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Safe driving record, access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of at least 2,000,000 liability insurance will be required
