The Opportunity:

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing clinical quality support, guidance and education to the residence’s nursing staff, residents, and their family members in order to ensure the continuing care needs of our residents are met.

What Is In It For You:
  1. Promotes the philosophy of Resident Centered Care, which supports the implementation and maintenance of programs and services to ensure the quality of life for residents.
  2. Ensures all nursing staff are able to meet resident care needs by providing and supporting to oversee clinical education and training in topics such as palliative care, pain management, abuse prevention and awareness, etc.
  3. Monitors nursing staff activities to ensure that resident care standards are met and maintained in accordance with current policies and procedures.
  4. Responds to resident or family member concerns and ensures appropriate action is taken within decision-making authority and/or brings to the attention of the Director of Care.
What You Will Need:
  1. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in an Assisted Living or Long-Term Care community is preferred.
  2. Prior experience working with seniors.
  3. Must have clinical education experience.
  4. Post secondary education in an accredited nursing program and current nursing registration in the province of Ontario.
