Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Care Technician for our Post Coronary Care Unit at our New Brunswick Facility.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred:

  • Previous nursing assistant or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Scheduling:

  • Evening shift, 24 hours per week (3 shifts), 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, including every other weekend and holidays

Essential Functions:

  • Assist patients with daily activities and provide nursing care, including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and bedside care (bathing, mouth, and skin care)
  • Ensure safe and effective patient outcomes through appropriate practice and judgment
  • Maintain communication with patients and healthcare team regarding patient care
  • Participate in patient care planning from admission to discharge for safe transitions
