Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for our Cardiac Cath Lab at our New Brunswick Facility.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) through American Heart Association

Preferred:

  • Previous nursing assistant or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program
  • Certified nursing assistant preferred
Scheduling Requirements:
  • Day Shift, 40 hours per week (4 shifts), 9a-7:30p, Monday-Friday
Essential Functions:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, provide nursing care including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and bedside care
  • Ensure effective and safe patient outcomes through proper practice and judgment
  • Communicate effectively with patients and nursing staff regarding patient care
  • Participate in the patient's care plan from admission to discharge for safe transitioning
