Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for our Float Pool at the New Brunswick Facility. The Float Pool CCT will be deployed across various departments within the campus to assist with patient care tasks. The ideal candidate should be adaptable and skilled in providing high-quality care in different clinical settings while maintaining effective communication with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred:

• Previous nursing assistant or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift, 40 hours per week (5 shifts), 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, including every other weekend and holidays

Essential Functions:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care, including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and bedside care (bathing, mouth care, skin care)
• Ensure safe and effective patient outcomes through proper practice and judgment
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing staff regarding patient care
• Participate in developing and implementing patient care plans from admission to discharge
