A leading health authority is seeking an Audiologist to provide audiological and amplification services across all age groups, with a focus on pediatric and special populations. This role requires coordination of community programs that enhance hearing and communication, emphasizing family-centered care principles and working cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications include a Master's degree in Audiology, current BC licensure, and relevant clinical experience.

Under the general supervision of the Manager or designate, provides comprehensive audiological and amplification services, including diagnostics and treatment, to clients of all ages, with specialization in pediatric and special populations. The Audiologist works cooperatively with professionals, agencies and community members and groups in a multidisciplinary team approach to address hearing related needs of individuals, families and the community, following family-centred care principles. The position provides direct consultation and educational services to other professionals, community members and families and coordinates and implements community-based programs designed to promote optimal hearing and communication skills and increase community awareness. The Clinical Audiologist provides supervision and teaching for Audiometric Technicians.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceCurrent licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as an Audiologist.
Masters Degree in Audiology. Relevant experience in community audiology, including pediatric audiology and experience in the selection, evaluation and fitting of hearing aids and Assistive Listening Devices (including FM equipment) is an asset. Travel is a requirement of this job. Travel arrangements must meet the requirements of the program.
