Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is hiring a Clinical Assistant for our Edmonton CPAP - Respiratory therapy team. You will perform sleep diagnostic testing, set up equipment, and collaborate with physicians and funding sources to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

The role involves educating clients, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement while upholding confidentiality in a patient-centered environment at our Edmonton site.

Qualifications

  • College certificate or diploma in Medical Office Administration or medical background preferred.
  • Staff providing diagnostic sleep services (HSAT) are qualified and competent per provincial regulators (BC-DAP + AB-CPSA).
  • Solid computer literacy with MS Office, ERP and Google systems; strong data entry and selling skills.
  • 1–2 years of experience in general office practice.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sleep diagnostic testing and equipment setup per AASM guidelines.
  • Actively promote related products and provide solutions to client needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date continuing education related to the position.
  • Follow established protocols for cleaning and disinfection of equipment.
  • Handle required administration tasks and complete documentation.
  • Protect client confidentiality and company information.
  • Contribute to branch quality improvements and staff training when needed.

The incumbent will work directly with all clients, referral sources and funding agencies to deliver high quality clinical evidence based care.
