Homewood Ravensview is a private 75-bed mental health, trauma, and addiction facility offering evidence-based, medically-led inpatient services for first responders, military veterans, executives & professionals, adults, and young adults. Located in North Saanich on 28 acres of forested hillside, Homewood Ravensview offers clients a comfortable and safe environment featuring serene ocean views from spacious rooms, welcoming common areas, and a world-class team of physicians, psychiatrists, counselors, and 24-hour nursing professionals.

As our Clinical Administrator, you will support the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) with day-to-day clinical operations, including program scheduling, preparation of client materials, coordination of attendance, maintenance of client information in various systems/files, and coordinating discharge information to applicable after-care clinics.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate client schedules and organize various program requirements
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication across all teams regarding adjustments, changes, and key information related to scheduling and programming
  • Support clients in understanding their programming schedules and ensure each client has an accurate group schedule/plan
  • Maintain patient care systems with updated client information from admission through discharge
  • Distribute client medical records and disseminate applicable information to clinical staff to facilitate weekly case conferences
  • Develop and distribute orientation packages for new clients
  • Compile program materials for the IDT team
  • Ensure adequate staffing to run programming and make adjustments in consultation with the Manager of Clinical Operations
  • Process all discharges, update client aftercare information, and disseminate discharge information appropriately to enable ongoing patient support post-discharge
  • Provide administrative and organizational support to the IDT, including support for special projects, presentations, materials, reports, and various correspondence
  • Monitor the main Ravensview telephone line and respond to routine inquiries received

What we're looking for

  • Postsecondary degree in Health Science, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Previous experience and/or training as an Administrative Professional
  • 12 years recent related experience in an administrative/health care role
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments to meet objectives and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Homewood Health promotes a fair and competitive compensation model. Pay rates are tailored to reflect differences in operating environments and job requirements. Compensation is influenced by many factors including principles or approach for a role, organizational tenure, experience, qualifications, or premium skills, external competitiveness, internal comparability, geography, and work performance. Pay range for this position is $21.58 - $26.97 hourly.
