Job summary

ParaMed in Guelph is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for a replacement, full‑time community care role.

You will provide ethical, safe nursing care, perform assessments, implement and adjust care plans, and build rapport with patients during scheduled visits.

Hours are 8am–8pm with alternating weekends. Requirements include CNO registration, a valid driver's license, flexibility, and willingness to travel within the designated area.

Qualifications

  • Registration with the CNO as a Registered Practical Nurse in good standing.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience delivering community care is an asset.
  • Reliability and flexibility.

  • Experience working with the vulnerable population.

  • Required on‑call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs.

This is a replacement position.


In this clinic nursing role, you as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) you will work with patients of all ages with differing complexity of care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable. 8am-8pm, incudes alternating weekends at our Guelph Clinic.
