As a clinic nurse with Coverdale Clinics, you will have the opportunity to develop new professional skills and gain valuable career experience. With our low nurse/patient ratios and patient-centered care approach, you will provide top-notch patient care services, ensuring the quality and attention every nurse wishes they had in busy centers and hospitals.

You will apply your clinical and interpersonal skills in a workplace that prioritizes patient care and satisfaction.

How you will make an impact

• Receive and review physicians' orders.
• Perform patient assessments.
• Prepare and administer specialized IV and injection therapies.
• Initiate IV lines.
• Perform injections and provide self-injection teaching.
• Conduct general health and medication teaching.
• Provide patient care through observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health education.
• Observe and document client conditions according to Coverdale Infusion Clinics Inc.
• Support and delegate tasks to Licensed/Registered Practical Nurses as required.
• Participate in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.

What you'll bring to our team

• At least 3 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in a hospital setting; ICU and ER experience are assets.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current registration with the provincial licensing body.
• Experience in medication preparation and administration via all routes.
• Experience with CVADs is an asset.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions; strong observational skills.
• Experience in biologics/infusions is an asset.
