Job description

Sustainability & Climate Investment Solution Research team provides innovative and data-driven solutions in the area of sustainability and climate investing for MSCI clients.

Your Key Ressponsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on sustainabiiity and climate-related topics such as sustainability financial materiality including ESG and climate and physical risks.
  • Support the development and testing of new sustainability and climate models indicators or frameworks.
  • Support client engagement and use cases.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and departments within the organization such as data science product development and marketing.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Relevant past experiences in sustainability research role.
  • Masters degree in a relevant field such as environmental studies economics finance or statistics.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills such as proficiency in Excel Python and Snowflake.
  • Working knowledge of MSCI ESG and Climate offering such as MSCI GeoSpatial data and MSCI analytic offerings such as BarraOne BPM and MSCIOne.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated interest and knowledge of ESG and climate issues trends and best practices.
  • Self-motivated proactive and eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced team.
