Title: Climate Change Engineer Trainee - Mississauga
Position Summary:
Hatch’s Climate Change Business Practice is seeking an Engineer Trainee with interest in climate change, decarbonization, and climate technologies. Reporting to one of the Leads of our Climate Change Business Practice, you will support projects locally and globally based out of our Mississauga Head Office location. The Climate Change Engineer Trainee will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering engineered solutions to combat climate change including process electrification, green hydrogen, carbon capture, carbon dioxide removal including direct air capture, biomass, biochar, and biofuels. The role will require a deep understanding of carbon and energy usage in complex industrial processes to develop decarbonization solutions across various process and energy systems, unit operations, and equipment.
