Job summary

Sagesse is seeking a Client Support Associate (Northern Alberta) to provide client support, advocacy, and system navigation while contributing to peer support, volunteer and Real Talk programs. The role emphasizes a client-centred, intersectional and gender-transformative approach; preference for those in Northern Alberta.

The position involves engaging participants, supporting volunteers and partnerships, and contributing to program delivery, evaluation, and improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Registration with a relevant professional body or eligibility for registration.
• Comfort with a hybrid work environment and virtual technology.
• Ability to travel throughout Alberta as required.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide client support, advocacy, system navigation, referrals and follow-up support.
• Maintain client engagement through individual and group support activities.
• Complete High Conflict Screening Tool assessments with clients.
• Complete FIT check-ins and ongoing client support.
• Support program development, delivery, evaluation, and quality improvement.
• Provide clinical support to agency volunteers as needed.
• Facilitation support as needed, including leading workshops and partnership collaboration internally and externally.
