About the Role

We are seeking a Client Services Manager - Healthcare Security to oversee our Healthcare Security sector in Alberta. This role focuses on growth, strategic partnerships, and expanding our presence in healthcare. The ideal candidate has a strong background in business development, healthcare industry knowledge, and security expertise.

The Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships and become a trusted security solutions resource.
  • Oversee healthcare accounts, ensuring service quality and contract compliance; significant on-site presence required.
  • Recommend and implement security solutions and risk strategies.
  • Ensure contractual and legislative compliance.
  • Manage start-ups and transition plans for new business.
  • Handle incident response and command.
  • Manage KPIs and reporting.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships in healthcare.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals to meet revenue and market share goals.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends and regulatory changes.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Understanding of Alberta government and security legislation.
  • Security operations, schedule management, CCTV, access control, incident reporting.
  • Financial management, including margin and spend control.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of managerial security experience in healthcare.
  • CHPA designation or in progress, with active IAHSS membership.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare security challenges and regulations.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with policy writing, reporting, and staffing adjustments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
