Job description

The Opportunity

This opportunity is perfect for an HR professional with a strong business development mindset who is ready to join a dynamic HR consulting practice and lead its growth in the Saskatchewan region. The Client Services Manager partners with the VP, Professional Services to expand and maintain our presence across Saskatchewan. Legacy Bowes is a proud business entity of the TIPI Group of Companies, and this role plays a key part in supporting its mission across the province. This role is both strategic and client-facing: you will actively identify business opportunities, cultivate new client relationships, and develop tailored HR solutions. From sourcing leads to crafting contracts and planning service delivery, you’ll be involved at every stage of the client journey.

With a strong focus on relationship-building and business growth, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys the challenge of customizing services for a variety of clients—including small to mid-sized businesses and First Nation communities. The successful candidate will bring a mix of strategic HR expertise, operational savvy, and business development experience, helping clients build strong, sustainable HR foundations while also contributing to the growth of our practice.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and uphold a positive and professional image of Legacy Bowes and TIPI Group of Companies, fostering strong brand recognition and trust.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Legacy Bowes’ services, products, and offerings, actively advocating and presenting these solutions to clients.
  • Represent Legacy Bowes at conferences, delivering impactful presentations and thought leadership to current and prospective clients.
  • Strategically plan, coordinate, and deliver HR Services advisement and projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with established clients to identify and address evolving HR Services requirements, strengthening client relationships and expanding service offerings.
  • Ensure the timely follow-up and resolution of overdue customer accounts, maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction and financial accuracy.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of outside consultants within your region, ensuring alignment with company goals and continuous professional growth.

Your Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to empathize with clients, providing compassionate coaching and guidance through challenging situations and critical decision-making processes.
  • Proven track record of identifying new opportunities and successfully driving them to completion, ensuring outcomes align with client objectives.
  • Highly proficient in written and verbal communication.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR legislation and common law across provincial and federal jurisdictions, ensuring compliance and best practices in all HR matters.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Indigenous communities and unique HR considerations, promoting culturally sensitive and inclusive practices in the workplace.

Qualifications

  • You are a value-driven leader and a collaborative team player with a natural ability to mentor and inspire others.
  • You bring over eight years of experience in Human Resources, including at least two years of proven success in managing and developing a team.
  • You have a solid background in business development, with experience in generating leads, building client relationships, and driving business growth.
