Job summary

BC Family Maintenance Agency in Kamloops is seeking a Client Services Representative to be the first contact for recipients, payors and community participants. The CSR maintains client-centered communication, responds to inquiries, resolves conflicts, updates the database and performs administrative tasks per policies and legislation.

This full-time, on-site role offers a starting salary of $47,588 per year, in a unionized BCGEU/BCFMA environment, with competitive benefits and on-the-job

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.
• Experience navigating a variety of computer applications.
• Experience applying knowledge and interpretation of policies and legislation.
• Preference for candidates with contact centre, social services or conflict resolution experience.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the first point of contact for clients, payors and community participants.
• Responds to inquiries, resolves conflicts and updates the database.
• Maintains accurate, timely correspondence and information for clients.
• Advises clients on navigating digital tools for account updates.
• Works within policies, procedures and legislation to support service goals.
