Job summary

MNP is seeking a Client Service Specialist to support our Cloud Accounting Services. The role covers full cycle bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory tasks using modern tech to meet clients’ needs in a dynamic Canadian firm.

You’ll handle payroll, AR/AP, and financial reporting for diverse clients, while maintaining compliance and collaborating with teams. Experience with QBO and Xero is valued and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting is considered an asset.
• 1 year of full cycle bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with cloud accounting software QBO.
• Additional experience with Xero is an asset.
• QBO Basic, QBO Advance, Xero certifications are assets.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes.
• Understanding of GST, PST, HST, payroll taxes and corporate tax.
• Experience with desktop bookkeeping software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with full cycle bookkeeping and payroll functions for clients.
• Prepare and maintain payroll and government remittances/filings, recording of sales, AR, expenses, AP, payroll and WCB transactions.
• Set up client files and assist with budgets and administrative planning.
• Maintain, monitor and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, AR, AP, accrued liabilities and intercompany and POS/system uploads.
• Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies, discuss resolutions with supervisor or engagement partner.
• Communicate with governments regarding information requests, assessments and installments.
• Work collaboratively and maintain relationships with clients and team members.

Responsibilities
