Job description

Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Client Service Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring operations run smoothly and their clients receive the best possible experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries, addressing concerns with professionalism and ensuring high client satisfaction.
  • Proactively investigate and resolve client issues, document inquiries, and advise the Advisory Team as needed.
  • Accurately execute transactions and ensure their timely completion.
  • Prepare, process, and confirm daily transactions, ensuring all details are complete and accurate.
  • Assist clients with onboarding processes, including setting up Online Access and DocuSign.
  • Maintain and update client files with instructions, documents, meeting notes, and other relevant information.
  • Generate reports and prepare investment summaries and presentations as required by the Consultants.
  • Draft, compose, and edit correspondence and communications on behalf of the Consultants.
  • Liaise with technical support teams to address system or software issues on behalf of Consultants.
  • Monitor and update social media accounts and assist with digital engagement strategies.
  • Support client financial plan updates by managing data input and related documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Financial industry experience is an asset, but not required. A candidate with their IFIC designation is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Windows-based applications and the ability to quickly learn new financial and administrative software tools.
  • Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a professional and client-focused demeanor. The successful candidate will communicate with CPA Sask., the CRA, and other financial governing bodies.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem-Solving: Effective decision-making abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, including complex work around taxes and financial planning.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset, with a commitment to achieving team goals while maintaining the ability to work independently.
  • Client Focus: Dedication to delivering excellent service to clients and team members alike.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with shifting priorities and changing work patterns when business needs evolve.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Well-developed interpersonal abilities and a high degree of professionalism.
