Job summary

ATB Financial is hiring a Client Service Representative in La Crete to warmly welcome clients, understand their financial needs, and connect them with the right resources. You will promote personal banking products, guide customers through digital tools, and support a collaborative team.

The role is unionized, temporary for 18 months, based in La Crete, with occasional travel to nearby branches. Strong customer service and banking knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Customer service and/or sales experience is required.

As a Client Service Representative, you'll be the welcoming face of ATB, providing essential banking services in a friendly, approachable manner, and building meaningful relationships with our clients. You'll take the time to understand their financial needs, offer personalized solutions, and connect them with the right resources. You'll be a key part of a dynamic team, ensuring every client interaction is positive, efficient, and leaves them feeling valued.

Additional Information

• This is a unionized role
• This is a temporary 18 months opportunity
• This role is based out of the La Crete branch, but on occasion may be required to travel to neighbouring branches.

Accountabilities

• Proactively engage with clients to understand their unique financial needs and goals, providing tailored solutions and guidance.
• Skillfully introduce and educate clients on our digital banking tools and platforms, empowering them to manage their finances with ease.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve client issues efficiently.
• Adhere to best practices, policies, and regulations, accurately processing transactions and maintaining the security of branch assets.
• Actively participate in team meetings, share insights, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Skills, experience & requirements

• Flexible and collaborative team player with a passion for helping others.
• Adaptable to change, with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Grade 12 graduate (post-secondary business courses an asset) and strong numerical aptitude.
• Proven customer service and/or sales experience.
• Familiarity with personal lending services and products is a plus.
• Preference given to candidates with previous banking experience.
