Job summary

ATB Financial in Airdrie, AB, is seeking a Client Service Representative to warmly welcome clients, understand their financial needs, and connect them with the right resources. You will help customers with everyday banking and personalized solutions in a friendly, efficient manner.

The role is unionized, temporary for 18 months, and requires Saturday shifts on a rotating basis at both Airdrie Main and Airdrie Kingsview branches, with transportation to both locations expected.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 graduate; post-secondary business courses are an asset.
• Proven customer service and/or sales experience.
• Familiarity with personal lending services is a plus.
• Preference given to candidates with banking experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with clients to understand their financial needs and goals, providing tailored solutions.
• Introduce and educate clients on digital banking tools and platforms for self-service.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve client issues.
• Adhere to policies and regulations, processing transactions accurately and maintaining branch security.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.

Additional Information

• This role is required to work at both Airdrie Main and Airdrie Kingsview branches. The team member will be required to provide their own transportation to both locations.

Skills, experience & requirements

• Flexible and collaborative team player with a passion for helping others.
• Adaptable to change, with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Grade 12 graduate (post-secondary business courses an asset) and strong numerical aptitude.
• Proven customer service and/or sales experience.
• Familiarity with personal lending services and products is a plus.
• Preference given to candidates with previous banking experience.
