Job summary

Kinaxis seeks a Client Partner to join the remote UK team. You will structure and sell professional services for Kinaxis solutions, including Change Management, Business Process Design, and Integration where appropriate.

You will engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful deployments and revenue growth. You will lead workshops, develop SOWs, and craft strategic account plans while building trusted advisory relationships across stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, process engineering, business, supply chain management or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years industry experience in large-scale software implementations in consulting services.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in professional services sales with new customers.
  • Background in consulting and ability to develop SOWs for client deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Identify sales and services opportunities for an assigned book of business and manage ongoing engagements with customers throughout the services sale lifecycle.
  • Present deployment methodology and recommend phased deployment approaches.
  • Develop strategic account plans to meet assigned revenue targets.
  • Partner with the internal Sales team to identify and close new business opportunities.
  • Develop comprehensive SOWs, communicating required costs, time, and resources for client deployments.
  • Lead discovery workshops to understand client issues and shape project direction.
  • Build productive partnerships with PS, Product Management, Support, and Sales teams.
  • Establish referenceable clients and nurture relationships with partner organizations.
  • Be the deployment trusted advisor for customers and partners.

About The Team

Working as part of the Professional Services (PS) team at Kinaxis, the Client Partner is responsible for structuring and selling the services required to successfully deploy RapidResponse and associated services (Change Management, Business Process Design, Custom Learning Services and Integration Development where appropriate), within the North America region. Leveraging their knowledge of RapidResponse as well as their commercial acumen in the supply chain management space, the Client Partner acts as a trusted advisor to identify and promote Kinaxis solutions to assist in solving customer challenges and ensure an optimal delivery plan. The Client Partner must be able to communicate and work with all levels of internal and external stakeholders ranging from C-level executives, sales partners to key operational personnel.

What you will do
  • Identify sales and services opportunities for an assigned book of business and manage ongoing engagements with customers throughout the services sale lifecycle.
  • Present deployment methodology and make recommendations on phased approaches to deployments.
  • Develop strategic account plans to meet assigned revenue target.
  • Partner with the internal Sales team to identify and close new business opportunities.
  • Develop comprehensive SOWs, including communicating what would be required in terms of cost, time, and resources to deploy an implementation to client specifications.
  • Lead discovery workshops to understand client business issues and gain a shared understanding of the project and develop a design direction.
  • Build productive partnerships with internal stakeholders of the PS, Product Management, Support Services, and Sales teams.
  • Responsible for helping to establish referenceable clients for Kinaxis.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with partner organizations who are engaged in sales, or deployment of, Kinaxis’ solutions.
  • Be the deployment trusted advisor for customers and partners.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, process engineering, business, supply chain management or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years industry experience in large scale and complex implementations in software consulting services, including hands on experience developing SOWs to deploy client projects, ideally in the supply chain management space.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in professional services sales with new customers.
  • A background in consulting
  • Excellent communicator and able to gain trust quickly with all levels of customers up to C-suite.
  • Proven negotiator with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Dynamic and critical thinker who can understand the intricacies of a deployment and the solution, while also maintaining a strategic view of the project and customer needs.
  • Travel 30-60% of the time domestically and occasional international travel.
  • Kinaxis RapidResponse certification in the role of Contributor, Author, or Admin is considered an asset.
