The Client Onboarding Program Manager is a strategic professional responsible for overseeing client onboarding initiatives. They stay updated with the latest industry trends and adapt them to their role and the business environment. Excellent communication skills are essential for internal negotiations, often at a senior level. They need developed communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and persuade colleagues and external customers. The role involves accountability for significant business results or providing authoritative advice on business operations, including technical strategy responsibilities. Staff management, resource allocation, and team work are also key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities:
  1. Communicate an innovative and agile vision that supports organizational strategies.
  2. Exemplify Citi’s core values and uphold the highest ethical standards.
  3. Bring extensive experience in process and project management.
  4. Prioritize multiple projects, monitor progress, and leverage metrics for optimization.
  5. Manage day-to-day project execution, milestones, and budgets across multiple complex projects.
  6. Identify stakeholders and build/manage relationships with them.
  7. Create and align multiple work projects with business goals.
  8. Facilitate, coordinate, and arbitrate cross-functional topics with senior management.
  9. Identify and resolve issues, including outside established project scope.
  10. Ensure project scope aligns with business objectives through stakeholder collaboration.
  11. Work with project sponsors on business case and cost-benefit analyses.
  12. Ensure adherence to project processes, procedures, and standards.
  13. Negotiate for resources across departments to complete projects.
  14. Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders promptly.
  15. Identify and mitigate risks impacting project delivery, escalating when necessary.
  16. Apply advanced understanding of concepts within own area to resolve impactful issues.
  17. Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance, ethical conduct, and transparency.
  18. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. 10+ years of relevant experience.
  2. Organizational knowledge and cross-functional teamwork experience to deliver multi-stream projects.
  3. Strong communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
  4. Effective leadership, team building, and partnership development skills.
  5. Analytical and problem-solving abilities with influence skills.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
