Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking an experienced onboarding professional to lead end-to-end client onboarding and account opening. You will act as the primary liaison between clients and internal banking teams, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing.

The role requires 5–8 years in client onboarding or related fields, strong communication skills, and a sharp attention to documentation. A hybrid work model with office and remote days is offered.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in client onboarding, operations, project management or related roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to coordinate with internal partners.
• Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing and validating documentation and client information.
• Experience gathering or coordinating client documentation in regulated industries.
• Degree or diploma in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding and account opening for new client relationships.
• Serve as primary point of contact between clients and internal banking teams throughout onboarding lifecycle.
• Complete client risk profiles and relationship updates using Citi onboarding platforms.
• Coordinate with KYC teams, Account Opening, and product partners to ensure timely onboarding.
• Identify and escalate risks, remove obstacles, and monitor open items to maintain momentum.
• Analyze onboarding processes and systems to surface improvement opportunities and increase efficiency.
• Assess risk at each stage to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
