We’re looking for a bright and motivated individual, someone who is ready to contribute to our growth and join our team on a full-time position for Vancouver Island. As the ideal candidate, you are excited by the opportunity to manage your own client portfolio and provide effective leadership to your project team.

What You Will Be Doing At Pinchin

  • Identify and investigate new business opportunities, capture and gather information.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of a sector or a client segment.
  • Manage clients, understand their needs, follow-up with them on a regular basis, and look for additional opportunities to expand our consulting services project work we do for them.
  • Participate in tradeshows, sponsorships, association events.
  • Promote Pinchin and its services through various communication channels.
  • Set-up meetings and develop relationships between new / existing clients and Pinchin Project Managers.
  • Collaborate with members of the marketing team to explore potential opportunities uncovered through client communications.
  • Work with members of the proposal team to ensure client needs are being met in RFQ/RFI documents.
  • Obtain, discuss and follow-through on feedback from clients.
  • Investigate and answer clients’ questions.
  • Communicate cross-selling opportunities to other service groups.
What You Bring To The Pinchin Team

  • Existing network within the environmental consulting industry.
  • 2-5 years’ experience with the effective management of clients within the local region.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Excellent negotiating skills.
  • Ability to act as company spokesperson.
  • Sound judgment.
  • Professional presentation and strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Comfortable and proactive with contacting potential clients via telephone.
  • Experience with the technical aspects of environmental consulting and engineering work is preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook).
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle (work related travel expenses will be compensated).
