Job summary

Western Financial Group is hiring an Insurance Broker in Fernie, BC. The role focuses on quoting and selling new home and auto policies, with daily client contact by phone, email, or in person. You will manage relationships and drive insurance sales against targets, following up on accounts and renewing existing policies.

Hours are 37.5 per week through April 2027, with a focus on customer service and sales excellence within a team‑oriented national organization.

Qualifications

• General Level 1 Insurance License is an asset.
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs.
• Able to communicate professionally in-person, by phone, and by email.
• Experience meeting sales targets in a similar role.
• Experience with EPIC is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes and sell new policies via phone, in-person and email.
• Assist customers with home and auto policy purchases.
• Manage relationships and meet insurance sales targets.
• Follow up on client accounts to resolve activities.
• Make sales and renewal calls for new and existing business.
