Job summary

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to serve diverse Vancouver clients. You will manage a portfolio of mortgage clients, deepen relationships, and provide personalized financial plans and advice in a fast-paced banking centre environment.

You will collaborate across teams, travel to multiple banking centres within a reasonable distance, and work on-site full-time. The role emphasizes client-first service, growth, and leveraging digital banking tools.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice to clients and achieving sales results through advisory conversations.
• Current accreditation and good standing in Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada).
• CFSA is an asset to have, plus MFDA licensing eligibility for CSC/CIFC.
• Desirable to hold DFSA designation and related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand personal and business priorities and provide forward-looking financial plans.
• Build relationships through outreach, community engagement, and referrals to partners.
• Grow client base and revenue by networking with families and communities.
• Introduce clients to mobile banking and digital tools to enhance financial management.
