Client Finance Manager – North America -

Up to $120,000 CAD

We’re looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Client Finance Manager to join our Finance & Accounting team and help lead client financial operations across our dynamic North American markets. Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, this is a key leadership role responsible for client profitability, financial oversight, and collaboration with client and project teams across Canada and the U.S.

What You’ll Do

• Own the financial health of key client accounts—from scoping and pricing through delivery and reconciliation
• Lead client billing and revenue forecasting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Partner with Account and Project teams to manage scopes, optimize margins, and improve utilization
• Analyze profitability by client and project, identifying areas of opportunity or concern
• Provide monthly financial reports, dashboards, and strategic insights to leadership and client teams
• Manage collections, aged receivables, and cash flow forecasting
• Support and mentor junior finance team members
• Play an active role in financial process improvements and system upgrades

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in client finance, ideally within an advertising, creative, or marketing agency
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA a plus but not required)
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition, project accounting, and North American billing structures
• Proven ability to manage client P&Ls and navigate complex scopes and fee structures
• Excel / Google Sheets wizardry—financial modeling is second nature
• Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and leadership skills—you can hold your own in a pitch meeting or a boardroom
