Are you a skilled and driven Client Development Project Manager? Aplin has partnered with a growing Ottawa-based organization that’s looking to expand their team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

We’re seeking a Client Development Project Manager to lead complex environmental projects while playing a key role in business development. This is a great opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded professional who’s looking to grow into a leadership role within the Environmental Services Division.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the full lifecycle of environmental assessment and remediation projects
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients
3. Lead proposal development and pursuit strategies
4. Drive revenue growth through proactive business development (~50% of the role)
5. Provide technical oversight and mentorship to project teams
6. Ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance, reporting, and stakeholder communication
7. Travel to remote northern project sites (especially during summer months)

Background & Experience:

1. Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Earth or Environmental Sciences, or Estimating
2. In-depth knowledge of environmental remediation and federal procurement processes
3. Experience working with or within Indigenous communities is a strong asset

Technical & Soft Skills:

1. Proven business development skills with a track record of turning leads into projects
2. Strong communication and project management abilities
3. Comfortable leading field programs and managing remote logistics
