Job summary

Pitcher & Doyle is seeking an experienced Client Care Representative to support our underwriting team. This role focuses on delivering empathetic service to clients and brokers while handling policy administration and claims-related support.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in customer service or admin, a General Insurance Level 1 licence (or ability to obtain one), and strong communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems is expected, in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in customer service or administrative roles.
• General Insurance Level 1 licence or ability to obtain.
• Exposure to claims processes or premium finance considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and follow-up skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated conflict-resolution skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience working with CRM, client databases, or policy administration systems.
• Comfortable working within established procedures in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for client and broker inquiries, delivering timely, accurate, and empathetic service.
• Support policy administration, including documentation review, data validation, endorsements, cancellations, and general processing.
• Coordinate premium finance agreements, client communications, and follow-ups.
• Provide administrative and customer support related to claims, including intake coordination and status updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and issue resolution.
• Assist with general administrative tasks and contribute to process improvements.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
