Job description

We are currently seeking a permanent full-time Client Care & Billing Clerk for our Sudbury, ON hearing clinic. This is a day shift Monday - Friday position onsite (8:30 am - 4:30 pm).

What you'll do:

  • Support billing and invoicing within the clinic
  • Support patients through payment plan options, insurance direct-billing, and payment questions
  • Maintain accurate records within relevant systems
  • Perform collections calls
  • Producing reports and maintaining exported Excel reports accurately
  • Act as a back-up support for the Client Care team by performing general administrative tasks including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting patients

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in a professional environment where billing, invoicing, and AR was an elemental task
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and technical acumen to learn and leverage software (bonus for experience with financial invoicing software)
  • Prior experience in a retail or clinic setting is a definite asset
  • Bilingualism in French is an asset
  • Customer-centric and team player attitude
  • Valid work authorization in Canada and a clean or satisfactory criminal background check is required
  • Availability to work full-time hours on a permanent basis is required
