About the Senior Salesforce Developer

The Senior Salesforce Developer role will be able to design, build, and support scalable and maintainable solutions within the Salesforce platform. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Salesforce development and architecture principles.


Responsibilities

Solution Design & Development:

  • Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions within the Salesforce platform.
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions using best practices.
  • Estimate level of effort and assist in planning development work.

Salesforce Platform Expertise:

  • Leverage core Salesforce technologies including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows and Platform Features.
  • Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or other Salesforce products.
  • Optimize the use of platform capabilities to minimize custom development where possible.

Technical Execution:

  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to established development standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with internal team members including Solution Consultants, Project Managers and other Engineers to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Escalate risks or blockers to the Technical Lead or Director as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Quality & Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in QA activities, including unit testing and supporting user acceptance testing.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements of internal processes, standards, and tools.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend features or upgrades to improve the platform.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and declarative tools.
  • Experience working with multiple Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and platform limitations.
  • Experience participating in or leading technical design sessions and solution reviews.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer or other Salesforce certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
