Job description

CLERK/STENOGRAPHER

The Clerk Steno acts as a resource to both internal and external individuals and assists the Senior Administrative Support – Elementary in the administrative and secretarial duties of the school office under the direction of the administrator.

Principal: Greg Blakeley

Schedule: Part-time 7 hours weekly (two half-days per week, Tuesday/Thursday)

Qualifications:

  • Required: Grade 12 diploma. Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to follow directions and work as a team member. Good organizational, secretarial, and word processing skills. Knowledge of MS Word at the Basic skill level. Experience with Outlook.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of PowerSchool, SchoolCash.net, JDE, attendance procedures, and EasyConnect. First Aid, CPR, and Microsoft Publisher would be an asset.

Participation in the OMERS Pension Plan is mandatory for all full-time permanent employees, even if currently in receipt of an OMERS pension.
