Parkwood Institute Mental Health Care - London, ON

Temporary Full Time

Salary Range: $29.11 - $34.23 /hour

This temporary full-time position is expected to extend until May 1, 2026, and is subject to the availability of work.

The successful candidate will provide assistance to the scheduling office to coordinate Clinical Extern staff resident care.

Essential Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma plus a certificate in Medical Office Administration or a related Health Care/Office Admin program
• Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Basic knowledge of payroll processes and collective agreements
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload in a busy clinical environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Professional and positive attitude towards supporting staffing
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, even with frequent interruptions
• Ability to analyze staffing patterns, anticipate needs, and suggest process improvements to the Manager
• Knowledge of a Safety Culture in Healthcare, in compliance with OHSA
• Experience with computerized patient care, scheduling, and online ordering systems
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills and experience dealing with the public
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capacity to prioritize multiple demands
• Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in French (asset)
• Experience with Shift Link scheduling platform
