HOURS OF WORK: 35 hour workweek

LOCATION: Hybrid Model*– when working onsite, you will report to the location of 8 Nelson Street West

SALARY GRADE: 10

STARTING SALARY: $1,141.35 per week

JOB TYPE: Union

Area of Responsibility

Reporting to the Coordinator, Administration, the administrative support staff within the Program Division will:

  • Act as a customer contact point, providing service via phone and email.
  • Manage customer accounts, including updates, login resets, and financial adjustments.
  • Perform collection activities for defaulted accounts, communicate with customers, and escalate as needed.
  • Reconcile daily transactions, prepare deposits, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Process refunds, verify payment methods, and handle corporate memberships.
  • Process accounts payable, validate invoices, and manage payroll and attendance records.
  • Create and reconcile inventory packages, monitor inventory counts, and coordinate inventory movement.
  • Provide training to concessions staff, ensure food handling standards, and manage donation and subsidized program requests.
  • Handle third-party registrations and payments.

Selection Criteria

Education: High school diploma plus 1-2 years in Business Administration or equivalent.

Experience: 2-4 years in recreation, customer service, cash handling, and record keeping.

Licences & Certifications: Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence, Food Handler’s Certification, Smart Serve Certification.

Skills & Assets: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication, ability to work independently and in teams, willingness to work in multiple locations.

Note: Tests or exams may be part of the selection process.
