A leading health organization in Manitoba is seeking a Clerical Support staff member to assist with clinical operations in person. Candidates must have a high school education, be proficient in typing, and have communication skills in English. Previous experience using the Radiology Information System is preferred. Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview
Experience
  • Previous related experience required.
  • Previous experience using the Radiology Information System (RIS), Electronic Patient Record (EPR), e-chart and ISCV preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions and values.
  • Typing 50 wpm and medical terminology (pass mark 75%) required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Access) required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Some lifting required.
    High volume area with frequent interruptions.
