Job Description
Salary Range: $26.114 - $28.313
Schedule & Shift
12-hour shifts
Expected Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours weekly (not a guarantee)
Position Summary:
As a key member of our Registration/Admission Clerical team, responsibilities include but are not limited to: registration and admission, updating demographic information, order entry, bookings, creating patient charts, filing, bed board management, patient transfer, arranging patient transport, verifying and updating medical insurance, collecting payments for uninsured services, and meeting with patients or families for accommodation preferences. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and must maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with PHIPA.
This position involves various scheduled shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. Full-time employees are expected to be available for all scheduled shifts. Physical demands may include sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending. The role contributes to maintaining a safe environment and enhancing patient experience. Skills and Qualifications:
All staff must have received all doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada, subject to accommodations required by law. A criminal record check is also required, in original format, dated within two months of the conditional offer.
