We are a Drug Preparation Premises in Mississauga/Oakville, ON providing hospitals, clinics, and physicians offices with sterile compounded preparations. Our facility employs a variety of experts including trained pharmacists, technicians, chemists, and microbiologists.

We currently have multiple Full-Time Permanent opportunities for a Cleanroom Production Technicians.

Summary of Duties:

• Responsibilities include tasks such as sterile product preparation: bulk IV admixtures, syringes and and bags utilizing aseptic technique
• Performing the necessary mathematical calculations and preparing compounded products, operating specialized equipment used in drug preparation and packaging, accurate and detailed record keeping
• Other Technician duties include: ordering and receiving of drugs and supplies, and lab support functions (picking/staging orders, visual inspection, completing batch record documentation)

Qualifications:

• Experience or aptitude in aseptic medication preparation
• Preferred: BSc in Science related fields
• Alternate Preferred: current licensure by the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician, a graduate of a CCAPP Accredited Pharmacy Technician Education program leading to licensure as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician, or nearing completion of the process and exams to become a licensed and Regulated Pharmacy Technician.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task including helping finish work tasks when the primary task has been completed.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and create a positive working atmosphere
• Detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative
• Reliable Shifts: Monday to Saturday, 8-hour shift times begin between 6am and 6pm
• Status: Permanent residents and Canadian citizens only at this time
