Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Manager to lead our on-site cleaning team across floors, washrooms and communal areas. The role requires managing rotas, audits, recruitment and training, with focus on safety, stock control and budget adherence.

Ideal candidates will have prior management or supervisory experience in cleaning, strong customer service, and the ability to work to deadlines with flexible hours and days.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or similar field.
• Experience in staffing, rotas, training and basic HR compliance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work to deadlines and adapt working hours/days.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and assisting with cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms.
• Managing staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruiting new employees.
• Identify training needs on-site and conduct training where possible; keep training records.
• Involvement with investigations such as personal accidents or potential disciplinary matters.
• Monitor cleaning products on-site, maintain stock levels, and submit orders within budgets.
