The Morley Academy, part of The GORSE Academies Trust, is seeking a committed Cleaning Assistant to maintain a safe and clean environment for students, staff and visitors. The role involves cleaning across all areas using appropriate equipment and materials in accordance with health and safety guidance.

Candidates should be able to handle potentially hazardous cleaning materials safely, work well in a team, and have sufficient reading skills to understand safety instructions and chemical labels.

Start date to be agreed with the successful candidate. The Morley Academy is seeking to recruit a committed and hard-working colleague to the role of Cleaning Assistant. This is a key position within the Academy, contributing to the provision of a safe, clean and well-maintained environment for students, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the school, using appropriate equipment and cleaning materials in line with health and safety guidance.

Potential Applicant Will Have

• The ability to safely handle and use potentially hazardous cleaning materials in the process of general cleaning.
• The ability to work constructively as part of a team.
• Sufficient reading skills to understand safety instructions and chemical labels, in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
