Job summary

Homestead Land Holdings Limited is seeking a Cleaner in Kitchener, ON to maintain cleanliness, safety and appearance across spaces including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, laundry rooms and amenity areas. You will ensure rubbish and recycling areas are well managed and help keep a welcoming environment for residents and visitors while following established cleaning routines.

The role requires physical capability (lift up to 20 kg) and prior cleaning experience.

Qualifications

• Previous professional cleaning experience required or preferred.
• Must be reliable with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of elevators, lounges, laundry rooms, and fitness rooms.
• Clean tenant units on vacancy including bathrooms and kitchens.
• Perform winter snow removal and other duties as needed.
• Follow established cleaning routines to keep spaces safe and welcoming.

Position: Cleaner
Location: Kitchener, ON
Type: Existing vacancy
Hours: 40 hours per week, includes weekend shifts every other week
Compensation Range (includes salary & shift premium): $41,500-$47,000

Overview

As a Cleaner at Homestead, you will help us to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our spaces. This includes regularly cleaning lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, laundry rooms, and amenity spaces. You will ensure garbage and recycling rooms are well maintained. Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors while following established cleaning routines.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the cleanliness of elevators, lounges, laundry rooms, Fitness rooms
• Tenant units upon vacancy (including bathrooms, kitchens (ovens & fridges)
• Winter snow removal
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Previous professional cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg (e.g., trash bags, cleaning equipment)
• Reliability, attention to detail, and safe work practices are essential
