The Napier District Masonic Trust is proud to have assisted the aged in our community for the past 60 years and will continue to plan and provide housing and care for our elderly in the coming years. We have an excellent reputation for providing quality residential aged care and affordable retirement village accommodation. We believe every elderly person has a right to a place they can call home regardless of age, stage, means or needs. We currently have a casual cleaning position available at our aged care facility in Taradale. This could be a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible casual work. We have a variety of shifts available both weekends and weekdays. Roles may lead to permanent positions in the future.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To thrive in our friendly and supportive environment and provide quality and consistent care to residents we are looking for someone with:

• Experience in cleaning in a commercial environment. Experience working in a healthcare facility would also be beneficial (however full training will be given);
• Empathy and patience with elderly residents;
• A friendly and professional manner;
• A strong and reliable work ethic;
• The ability to work in New Zealand (NZ residency or a valid work visa).

Full training including a supportive and tailored orientation programme to suit individual needs will be provided.
